Aaron Gwin Winner Series 1 UCI Downhill Worldcup 2011


USA riders from Trek World Racing team Aaron Gwin, managed to be the fastest in the series opener UCI Downhill Worldcup 2011, which took place in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Host driver Greg Minnar of Santa Cruz Syndicate team failed to become the best. Minnar must be satisfied in a position to-2, Aaron Gwin and Minnar only a fraction of a second adrift.

Champion Elite UCI Downhill Worldcup Man last year, Gee Atherton (Commencal) this time had to settle for 3rd place. 2010 World Champions Sam Hill (Monster Energy / Specialized / Mad Catz) this time unable to do much, Sam Hill declined to diurutan-8.

Frame Specialized Demo 2010 for Downhill

UCI World Champion Sam Hill Category WordlCup MTB Downhill 2009, managed to reach the highest point of the 8 series which has taken place. Samuel Hill rider from Australia who are members of Team Monster Energy / Specialized / Mad Catz won a total of 1469 points, ahead of 2 Santa Cruz Syndicate riders Steve Peat and Greg namely Minnaar.

Through two flagship Monster Energy Specialized rider Sam Hill and Brendan Fairclough managed to achieve good results in each series Worldcup Downhill. Sam Hill dipuncak Classification and Brendan Fairclough is rated to 8.


Sam Hill and Brendan entrust riding on Specialized DEMO 8, such as whether the Demo 8 Frame that can deliver the Hill to be the best.

Specialized Freeride Downhill Frame DEMO has two kinds of travel sizes, 8 ", known as DEMO 8 and 7" are known as DEMO 7.

New Breakthrough FUNN MTB Parts

mountain bike parts maker (MTB) and BMX provides a breakthrough on some of their products on display diajang Taichung Bike Week in Taiwan. Although relatively new players such diindustri FUNN dared to be different, with custom color designs on their products.

In 2010, consumers can provide its own color (custom designs) in accordance with the tastes, meskipn there has been no official confirmation about the price of a custom design.


Funn Justin Schwartz, who is also a professional mountain bike racer the U.S., said: "Initially we started a program for our OEM [products offered as part of a complete bicycle] customers. Due to the fantastic response from consumers, we have to offer new applications on the customer. Customers will be able to choose their own unique package design, with a very affordable price. "

Custom process can be used on almost all products from FUNN handle bar, stem, pedals and cranksets.
Funn is one manufacturer that produces parts MTB handlebar is a super-wide (785mm) Fatboy DH, their products are also used by world champions such as Sam Hill Downhill and freeride rider Kyle Strait.


Schwartz also said there will be surprises from FUNN, including a complete new look for 2011, Schwartz did not disclose whether it's a surprise, in March 2010 just officially announced.

New Michelin Tires MTB

Good news for all you fans who cultivate mainly MTB Free Ride (Downhill) and Ekstream XC (Cross Country). Tire manufacturer Michelin famous product variants launched their latest line-up for 2011.

Michelin showcase their latest products at the Sea Other Classic 2010, which took place in Monterey California USA. Event with the main sponsor of SRAM in addition to the exhibition is also enlivened by some good competition and Roadrace MTB race.

 Tire manufacturer Michelin as both road and MTB do not want to miss displaying their latest products. One of interest is the latest new line-up of the popular Wild Grip'r Descent with comp 16 with perfecting Casing and Compond.
 
Michelin Tires Wild Grip'r Descent is an official product for the year 2011. For the rider who has been frequently used for Downhill Compond 16 Michelin, the tire texture looked familiar from the old model.
2.5 "rigid chassis with a weight 1300gr as suitable for the aggressive rider.

In addition to Wild Grip'r Descent, Michelin also released a kind of Wild Rock'R Descent. The terrain tire specifically for Downhill Race in offroad terrain and heavy (hard terrain).
Extra soft compound Michelin Wild Rock'R Descent with new tekture guarantees comfort and security when ridding in extreme terrain. Wild version Rock'R Descent comes in two choices of tread width of 2.25 "and 2.5". Two kinds of size remains the same rigidnya and still function despite maximal in the low tire pressure.
